Lauren Mauro

Lauren Mauro is an associate in the firm’s Corporate practice group and focuses her practice on all facets of corporate, securities, and transactional matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Lauren served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Louis Nock, New York State Supreme Court Justice. Lauren received her JD from New York Law School.

Lauren is committed to pro bono work and participated in the New York State Pro Bono Scholars Program, which granted her the opportunity to dedicate her final semester of law school to full-time pro bono efforts at the firm.

On May 16, 2024, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopted amendments to Regulation S-P to “modernize and enhance the rules that govern the treatment of consumers’ nonpublic personal information by certain financial institutions.”  Affected financial institutions have 18-24 months (depending on their size) to comply, and should begin preparing now.
